THE JUDGING PROCESS

The awards are judged evaluating written entries and one face-to-face interview with the judges. You need to have an excellent submission as well as an excellent business. Judges use a marking template to score each of your answers to the questions and then calculate the total score. An independent panel of judges have been selected, including some from outside of this region – they don’t know anything about your business that you don’t include in your answers, so be sure to be as comprehensive as possible within the word count as set in the questions. The Board and staff of either of the CCI’s have no input in the judging process. The judging panel reserves the right to place entrants into the most appropriate category. All submissions must fully satisfy the criteria and only those deemed competitive will become finalists.

GALA AWARDS PRESENTATION NIGHT

Our Gala awards presentation evening will be held on Friday the 25th of October in the newly completed Performing Arts Centre at Cape Naturaliste College. Finalists will be notified by October 1st  with the winners announced and presented with their trophy and certificate on the awards night. This year’s theme will be “Casino Royale” and will be a night of formal dress, grand dining and celebration. Book early to avoid disappointment - why not reward your staff and book a table of 10 in lieu of your office Christmas Party? Tickets will be on sale from September 2nd.

We wish you the best of luck with your submission

Submissions close Friday August 30th at 4pm. Please send submissions to [email protected] or deliver to the Busselton Chamber of Commerce office, 38 Peel Tce, Busselton.
